Brig Sorber is the CEO of the award-winning TWO MEN AND A TRUCK/INTERNATIONAL, Inc., based in Lansing, Michigan.  He is also one of the original “two men” along with his younger brother, Jon Sorber.  The pair started the business in the early 1980’s to earn spending money.  After Brig and Jon left for college, their mother, Mary Ellen Sheets, continued the business.

Upon graduation from college, Brig operated his own TWO MEN AND A TRUCK franchise in Marquette, Michigan, with his wife, Fran.  In September 1996 the Sorbers sold their franchise to come home to Lansing so Brig could help restructure the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system.  Brig then served as a field consultant and was also in charge of franchise development.

Brig attributes the system’s success to its foundations of honesty, trust, and hard work.  He feels his experience as a mover, driver, and a franchisee help him to make well-educated decisions that benefit the TWO MEN AND A TRUCK system as a whole.

He has been a speaker and guest instructor at several university schools of business and other organizations.  Brig was awarded the 2008 Alumni Award by the Okemos Education Foundation.  He is a graduate of Northern Michigan University, where earned the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award.
