First Thursday Luncheon
Thursday, February 5, 2015
Inn, Hamilton Place
2232 Center St., 37421 (near Carmax)
Jeff Gore moved around a lot across the United States with his family in growing up. He moved to Chattanooga in 1990. Jeff attended high school at Grace Academy;
playing basketball and soccer. He began
dating Jill, his wife to be, his senior year at Grace. He attended Chattanooga State, played one
year of basketball, and then went to Kennesaw State.
Jeff started his professional career at
US Xpress, and in 2000, he moved to Atlanta to accept a job in the
telecommunications industry. He spent 15
years in the industry with 2 years spent between Mastec Technology and Sprint,
then 13 years with SBA Network Services, an international cell tower
company. His positions at SBA included
Regional Site Manager, and Colocation Manager, working with Network providers
to lease tower space.
In November 2013, Jeff moved from the
telecom industry to start a new venture, not knowing what that might be. In
early 2014, he acquired his Real Estate license which fueled his interest in
the investment side of the business; leading to the purchase and renovation of
a duplex rental and a recent house rehab project. This line of work has been
incredibly rewarding; working on a project by project basis.
Jeff and his wife, Jill, live in the
Chattanooga area. They have a 4 year old
daughter, Lola, and have a baby on the way, due in mid-summer. His hobbies include basketball, golf, and
spending time with his family.
